Joy Miller earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology at the University of Memphis in Tennessee. She discovered she loved helping students while serving as a Resident Advisor (RA) and never really left higher-ed. She built a career around Residence Life at the University of Idaho and, later, the University of Arizona where she graduated with a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration. Joy has two-decades of experience in student-oriented roles including Financial Aid Administrator, Academic Advisor, and her current position as the State Scholarships Program Manager. She lives in Boise with her husband, two daughters, two middle-aged dogs, and an anxious cat.
