James has been in college admissions for 16 years, having worked at Oregon State University, University of San Francisco, University of Puget Sound, University of Washington Bothell, and now Seattle University as Associate Vice President & Dean of Admissions. He is the current Admissions Practices Chair and a NACAC Delegate for PNACAC. James attended Oregon State University, earning Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and Psychology.
